Mount Claremont Farmers’ Market is holding a photography competition in May.

We want your best photos of anything at the markets. Closeups, candid shots, people (get their permission please), pups (ask for their owners’ permission please), produce - bread, bakery goodies, fruit, veges, etc plus buskers, face painting, stallholders, different perspective views, humorous shots, whatever inspires you !

Information

• any image is eligible as long as it is dated in May 2025 and taken at the Mount Claremont Farmers’ Market, 103 Alfred Rd which is open every Saturday morning 7.30-11.30am.

• images can be edited and use of filters is allowed.

• Three categories - 1/ entrant over 18 years of age at 31st May, 2025;

  2/ entrant younger than 18 years of age at 31st May, 2025

  3/ open age group, for obviously edited images, e.g. collages, images with text

• unlimited entries per photographer allowed.

• competition runs on May 10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st May with the closing time for entries being noon on 31st May, 2025, i.e. emails must be received by noon.

• entries will be judged by the farmers’ market management committee with winners announced at 10am at the markets on June 7th, 2025.

• no one related to the committee is permitted to enter, and no professional photographers either.

• Prizes include vouchers to spend at the markets at any of the wonderful stalls.

• The markets own the right to use the photos after they have been entered, with credit given to the photographer. Please scroll down for some inspiration!
